<p>Richard, I did post the companies details, sorry if  I insulted you, just trying to share something.<br />
As for mortgage insurance, V8ghia is right,  I  just spoke to my finance guy to clarify and yet again he outlines the insurance requirements above 80% LVR.<br />
Less than 80% they pay, which is a small amount anyway (less than $100).<br />

I have been a painter for some years and was unaware of what was asbestos. I was exposed on 5 occasions that I know of and now have to be tested every 2 years.<br />

Most wall paper comes in two sections. Normally the part that is peeling may be the top layer part. If you peel it dry the wall paper seperates and you would be left with a film of paper on the wall that you apply the wall paper remover with a brush. The sub floor was properly prepared, the underlay was not wet,<br />
they seem to bubble over night. I thought it might have to do with the temparature. The glue is what they recomend and I have used it acording to instructions.</p>

I bought a 2 story storage unit/ office about 18 months ago.<br />
It is in a block of 72 in Campbellfield vic.<br />
They are harder to sell but none the less selling and offering positive returns.<br />
Mine is valued at $41,000 and rents for between $70-$90 per week with the tenant paying all the outgoings.<br />

There is no reason that you can&#8217;t paint as good as a pro.<br />
Once you learn some basic techniques all you are doing is repeating them over and over ie:rolling and brushing until you complete the house.<br />

I did look at buying one of these units, however I thought they were a bit expensive for the time saved considering you have to roll anyway. For me it was&#8217;nt even worth the $120 to hire it.<br />

<p>I recently painted the walls of a church hall that was lined with paneling. I used an acrylic sealer and then 2 coats of a good quality acrylic paint. I rolled them on then went over with a brush the areas the roller never got, which were few.<br />
I also tinted the sealer the same colour as the paint.<br />

I have been a painter for years.<br />
I suggest you thoroughly wash the house using sugar soap and a scrubing broom.<br />
You find that vinyl cladding after a few years goes a bit powdery.<br />
If you paint straight over this the paint actually sticks to powder and not vinyl.<br />

<p>You can buy anti mould from most paint shops or Bunnings for about $12.<br />
One manufacturer is a company called Flood. You simply add the specified amount into the paint, stir and it helps to protect from the growth of mould.<br />
Some paint stores will charge you extra to add additives in for you for a  few extra dollars.<br />

I think spraying the outside of the house is fine however you need to be a bit carefull inside,<br />
Mum was right, they are great to spray textured walls and ceilings<br />

<p>I had a similar problem with pigions, about 100 of them, they pooed everywhere and were didrty.<br />
The answer is a can of whiskas and Fenitrothian.<br />
That will stop them.<br />
Or you might want to try chilli, that will burn their bum and give them a rash.</p>

<p>A good guide for the price of painting is about $250 per sqare (100 sq feet). That is for new and providing you don&#8217;t have to do too much work to the plaster.<br />
When quoting older places I would quote by the condition of the plaster, whether it needed work etc.</p>

The only advice I could give you is do what he did and what Michael Angelo did,  slowly and patiantly.<br />
Unfortunately unless you can take the roses down you need to put in the hard yards.<br />

<p>If the surface has&#8217;nt been painted for a while (10-15 years ) you may need to use a primer undercoat plus 2 top coats.<br />
A good tip is to wash the walls if they are dirty. Today I have been painting a house that has lots of marks from a dog. I washed off as much as I could to maximise the efectiveness of the paint.
