When assessing borrowing capacity, most lenders assume that you spend about 3% of your credit card limit in interest per year.

Paddington is definitely a good area, and they are not making any more terraces.

As long as you can sustain the negative cash flow, the capital growth should more than compensate for the negative cash flow.

Why don’t you ask the agent for evidence that prices are dropping? Ask the agent for the a list of recent sales showing that prices are dropping, then check out for yourself to make sure that properties are comparable.
