Hi my neighbour and I are considering whether it is worth offering our homes to a developer. We would have about 1300 m2 between us on Nepean Highway in Cheltenham Vic. The real estate agent has strongly advised against going down this path but I wonder if it’s because he misses out on commission if I sold my house to a home buyer. Is it worth investigating and if so, which developer is worth contacting? Note the estimated value of my house on land is 1 mill. Your comments and insights would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

    Yes worth considering.

I have a client going through this at the moment in Sydney and he is looking at getting double what the property is otherwise worth.

What reason did the REA provide for being against it?
