Interesting comment about mark rolton versus carly crutchfield dvd’s. I am researching creative ways of investing and would like to eventually view both. However I think I would like to start with Carly dvd. Does anyone have her prodevelop dvd set including bootcamp set that they would be interested in selling? Post message or send me a pm if anyone can help.

Hi I have only recently joined the forum and noticed this post. We are commercial builders who have just tendered on such a project. We are meeting with the client on tuesday night so might be able to tell you more re victoria. I believe it has taken nearly 18 months to get townplanning for new use. Also upgrade council infrastructure etc to appease everyone. But up until recently there was some very generous gov grants for new med clinics, although now only for regional areas etc. I am very interested in the idea though if the $ stacked up.

actually I was thinking the same thing so put one on the market but hasn’t sold in over 6 months now. If sold would leave me with around $100k + after costs….would that be enough to start with do you think? To me it seems finance ois always the issue, as you suggest jv is very appealing how did uou go about meeting potential jv partners?Would anyone recommend joining property investmrnt groups?

    Hi Dave,
I am of a similar view. I work in commercial construction and own 2 investment properties, but really want to do res development for a living. Seems tricky to crack into without cash or a good wage, I now have quite a bit of debt due to investmrnt loans and don’t feel like I can make a move. Any advice from forum members would be appreciated.
    Anita
