    Hi guys,

This may be a silly question. But what is the difference between a detached dual occupancy and a torrens title subdivision?

    This question is for NSW.

It seems like they both produce the same outcome. A block with one dwelling turned into a block with two dwellings. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Naremburn.

Dual occ is two dwellings on one title. This will mean one lender and you could only sell the 2 together. If they had separate titles you could take them to different lenders and sell them separately.
