My wife and I have just finished this, It worked out pretty good and we are now living in the moved house. All up the cost to move the house was $36 000 with the other major expenses being  $4000 for plumbing, $4000 for electrical. The grand total was $85 000 plus $16 000 for Council costs.</p>

I have just finished my house relocation and it worked out great. It was a lot of hard work but well worth it in the end.<br />
My major costs were as follows:<br />
removal and restumping =$35000<br />
plumbing =$3400<br />
electrical =$3000</p>

<p>I agree with Dian it is a lot different to just plain building a home because of all the coordination and organizing one must do.</p>
<p>I am just weeks away from completing my house removal. I have placed the home on a block a land with a excisting house on it and sub divided it which I think will give me the best result. <p>These are just a few things that might need to be looked at.</p>

<p>At the moment I&#8217;m doing just that. I have bought a house on a corner block of land with which I&#8217;m moving a house onto the block. The house to move was easy to find I had a choice of 2 and just have to pay all the moving cost and i get it for free.<br />
