Seems to have been overlooked here. I&#8217;ve recently made myself a still from which i produce my own pure alcohol spirit. Costs me about $7.00 to make a pretty decent bottle of whisky. At a geuss i&#8217;d say i&#8217;m saving about $30 a week. I&#8217;ve just come back from the UK aswell, god knows how you enjoyed staying over there that long!.<br />
As i understand it, if you have held on to your investments for longer than 12 months you should qualify for the 50% CGT reduction.<br />

Everyone has a job and a place to live and i can&#8217;t see many new job opportunities coming up. My hubby figured out that he was buying three cups of tea a day at 70p a cup and he was horrified that he was spending £15 a week just on tea!!!  So we went out and bought a thermos and put that money away for savings.</p>

I would say all landlords work on rent in advance.  Every place we have rented has been rent in advance.  I certainly wouldn&#8217;t want rent in arrears if I was a land lord as you may never get the final payment when the tenants leave!</p>

Most have only got the house they live in with barely any savings at all.  I look at my parents and they don&#8217;t have a great deal.  THey are lucky enough to have two properties but the extra property is my dad&#8217;s superannuation!</p>
