    Why would you not use the LOC for the main loan?  The interest rate is too high? An interest only loan is better?  I have a LOC of credit for my PPOR, but will completely pay it off next month.  What is the best way i can  then use it for purchasing an IP?

    Thanks for your reply: what suburbs were you thinking of?  It doesnt matter if it isnt within 10-15kms from the city: I just want to get an idea of what areas I can start looking in when I next go to Brisbane.

    Thanks for your reply. Part of my problem was that I lived overseas, and consequently bought quickly with the idea that any property purchase would come good in time. Foolish! Now I want to off-load three out of four! They are all in seemingly good areas, but are costing me money. Perhaps just reducing the debt is the best plan at the moment.
