If you rent out a Non Approved dwelling with no Development Approval by your local council,

Is a Tenancy Agreement Lease a legal binding contract.

Can anyone answer this question for me.

I know on same property there are Four rental dwellings currently rented with no Council Development Approval from the local council.

The illegal dwellings are on rural land.

This sounds like a question for a lawyer or consumer rights service.

The only help I can offer is that most tenancy laws require the premises to be safe and habitable. Perhaps one could argue this is not the case if the property has not been properly authorised?

    Bye,
