    Hi guys,

I'm looking at purchasing a residential rent roll in Adelaide. After 6 years in the industry I'm keen to spread my wings and do it my own way.

Does anyone have any information on how financing for a rent roll works? Am I able to use equity from my 2 investment properties to assist with the purchase or will banks require cash?

If anyone has purchased a rent roll or has assisted with the finance process for someone purchasing a business, any tips you may have would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    HI YI

Both financed a few and also own one myself here in Brissie.

Certainly you can use equity in IP's as collateral security but you should still be able to borrow against the value of the rent roll.
Havent done one for 6 months or so but you are still able to get circa 50-60% of the value of the roll.

Going to depend on the business valuation and must admit i dont know who those rent roll lenders use in Adelaide.

    Cheers
