    Could someone please recommend a provider for Landlords Insurance. The property is insured however I want to take out additional Landlords Insurance.

    Hi there,

    We use Hollard Insurance. Our Landlord poilcy covers all sorts of malicious damage, loss of rent and building insurance.

    I use Terri Scheer – http://www.terrischeer.com.au They’re the only insurance company in Australia that only does landlord’s insurance. Where possible, I will always use a specialist, as opposed to a generalist. I’ve found their service really good, too e.g. they have in-house contact centre staff (as we do).

    Matt, Scott thanks for your advise it’s much appreciated.

    My wife and I have purchased two investment properties in the past 6 months but unfortunately our friends and family don’t have investments and can’t see our reasoning.

    Therefore we learn through research (books and the net). However I was stuck on this issue.

    Once again thank you both and I will use this forum on a more regular basis, why re-invent the wheel – just ask others.
