So Scremin, looks like a lot of teachers here! I taught in UK in ’97 on my backpacking trip. Thought I was going slowly mad! Now at a private school which has a great discipline programme, so quite like it. Except for the marking!!! Which I shall get on with as soon as I get back from buing a new back pack!! You know, to use when I get rich!!! [

I found I was going nuts with all the marking here as well. Particularly seeing as my head of year loved work sheets and drowned the poor little darlings in paper… I never got round to marking lots of stuff. I kept the main sheets in their files and ditched the rest….Good teaching practise isn’t it??? NOT!!!I am so looking forward to teaching in a real school where you can tailor your classes to the kids needs. Oh well.
Gotta fly…literally..gotta pack!!

Oh! Morley! HArrowing! NOOOOOO! hee hee. I am from morely myself! My parents are still there after 30 years! Right across the road from the galleria. THe cool thing is, they also own the house next door and they were offered a paltry amount for their houses coz it could get commercial zoning (Doctors…) but they told them to stick it where the sun don’t shine. Dad would only take offer in excess of $500K! Hee hee, don’t think we shall get that now…Oh for DavidC and Arty, IT ISN’T SYDNEY COZ IT DOESN’T HAVE THAT THIN POINTY THINGY!!!
