    Hi all,

I'm heading to the tax liens seminar at the end of next week and can't wait for it to come around.  Who else is coming and do you have any thoughts about what we may expect.  What are you most looking forward to?  I like the idea of purchasing liens over the counter as I dont like the idea of bidding down values in return or ownership.  I suppose any bids I make dont have to be bid down.

I have just purchased my mobile braodband USB to get the most from the seminar.  I just hope I can get it working in time!

    Hi Andrew,

I'll be there with bells on!!  I'm not sure that we can actually start the buying process on that weekend – all of our paperwork will need to be organised and setup via Tony before we can make our mark.

I was lucky enough to speak with Steve a few days ago, and there is a huge amount of content to go through….just make sure that you have all the questions with you that you'd like to have answered.

    Hi Andrew

I'll be at the event too and I'm really looking forward to it.  I'm hoping that once we go through the paperwork and all, we are ready to go with purchasing tax liens – I'm a bit tired of outlaying money for stuff and then finding that I need to outlay even more to actually go do what it is that was promised.

Here's hoping its a good one!

with the big drop in the AUD this week, people will want to ensure they really do their sums when it comes to investing in the US tax liens.  Not suggesting for a minute you shouldn't do it, just that's the thing that can bite you if the exchange rate changes against your favour.

Well I am  looking forward to it as well but as Uppitt noted the drop in the AUD is definitely complicating the tax lien side when investing from Australia.

Where are you coming from Ros?  I'm in Melbourne so its not as complicated for me. :)

Will be attending with my wife on the Sunday. Have a family wedding on the Saturday and cant make it but still payed as we are both very interested.
Drop in the AUD may affect the initial purchase. Dont know if the seminar covers setting up a USA bank acc. Could leave the AUD there and exchange when rates move up.
Buying USB modem this Friday @ $79 – good for a month

Great. Sounds like going to be a fun weekend.
I think this smaller group will be great for networking, I was too chicken to talk to anyone during the 3 day conference but determined to network tmr.

Looking forward to it. I've called Judith a few days ago and it sounds quite simple do it.

Well, It's half way through day one and we are learning heaps.  Tommy Senatore is absolutely fantastic.  I'm not quite ready to log on and buy (paperwork not withsdatanding) but I am confident I will by the time the weekend is over.  :)

Wow. That was one great workshop. I can feel my brain bursting with infomation, it was certainly an overload for me this weekend.
Had a great time and met fantastic people.
This time I am going to make some money out of this.

I met a very switched on person at the workshop James. He is setting up meet ups in Melbourne to go thru notes and further educate ourselves in the process of buying and redeeming tax liens. I want to set up one in sydney. So if there are any Sydney pole wanting to meet up and go thru stuff together please contact me and we can set up a time to run thru things.

Hi, My husband I I attended the seminar and were suitably impressed. First we thought we would just do the liens but after careful consideration we have decided that it is now or never to do the purchasing of tax deeds (ie go to US with Tommy). I will be going by myself so all the pressure is on me to do the right deals.lol. I am worried about the "quick flicking" and wondered if anyone else has signed up to go. I have missed the first intake but hope for the 2nd. Is there anyone who is currently doing the quick buy and sell and can ease my fears? There is no doubt there are deals to be had with the buying but I am worried that we won't be able to onsell the properties and don't want to be stuck with the. I realise Tommy will be helping us make the right choices and that we make small profits along the way but was wondering about thoughts from others.
