<p>I guess it is to sell books, and help people; but I&#8217;ve certainly noticed some REA&#8217;s in a certain Vic country town delighted to see &#8220;another&#8221; buyer from Melb to join in the bidding war on a couple of cf +ve houses. They are now not CF+ as the bidding has got a bit out of control!</p>

<p>We have an older weatherboard place on stumps, no previous infestations. <p>Get Steves book &#8211; he put $100 on a house once when they were asking for $10K.</p>
<p>No law to give an amount apparrently, just std practise for REA&#8217;s to put 10$ figures on contracts.</p>
