    Sorry if it’s a dumb question to ask. Everyone are saying land appreciate and buildings depreciate, shouldn’t “location” play the most important part?

    I guess they were generalising mate – given the same location then it is true in many cases – not all!

    Agreed. But with same amount of $, You can either buy a unit within 15km of CBD or a house 35km from CBD. Which one is better in terms of CG??

    You should buy the one that you think will make you more money relating to your investment time frame.
