“Red, blue, purple and green…”: This thing has more colours than the four mentioned.
Two vertical posts: Think about it more. Nothing tricky about this one, you just have to picture it. Obviously the posts aren’t 1000 ft from each other, because the rope would be pulled tight and wouldnt sag at all (leaving it 750 ft from the ground)

Of course.
For the rope to be within 250 feet of the ground it must be hanging 500 ft down on each side. 500 x 2 = 1000 so that leaves no distance between posts.
Very simple. I was thinking I couldn’t be bothered with the geometry of it!
