Having just tried to change my plan hours, I was informed that I have ‘agreed’ to 12 months continuous connection to my current plan. When did this happen??[
!] I hate it when companies trap you into contracts, ozemail says that if I try to force a change in my plan hours, they’ll immediately debit my credit card for the outstanding amount plus a ‘contract severance fee’ WHAT BASTARDRY!!! No doubt I’ll recieve a form letter to an inquiry I sent to them. I guess the lesson is beware who allow to auto-debit your account. [V]FACE THE STORM!
i’ve heard good things about ozemail—it is one of the best ISPs in oz. some ISPs definitely suck—you get disconnected often; you can’t go any site all of a sudden etc…
anyway you should always be careful about small prints.
