I know that everyone is busy however I have had a couple of clients comment lately that they were being overcharged interest on their mortgage.

We already pay the banks too much interest and fees. In fact, a website called http://www.statementchecker.com.au says that these overcharges are very common.

So I have spent some time and developed a spreadsheet that will recalculate the interest on your mortgage and compare it to what you have actually been charged on your loan statements. You can access this spreadsheet by clicking on the link below:

    http://www.prosolution.com.au/ps_docs/prosolution_doc091603_185020.xls

Either click “save” to save the file (MS Excel file) on your computer or select “open” to open the file in your web browser.

If you have any trouble downloading the file then send us an email (at [email protected]) and we’ll email you the file as an attachment.

Just follow the simple instructions and enter your transactions from your loan statements onto the spreadsheet. It will then check the interest that you have been charged.

Of course I do not provide any guarantees as to its accuracy. I provide this spreadsheet in good faith.

I will leave it on my website for a while so if you don’t have time to check your statements now then please feel free to come back later. You can also forward it to a few friends.

    Cheers
