My parents have some real estate that they inherited in Europe (Greece). They are looking at selling the property and transferring the funds across here. I just need to understand the gotchas in doing this.

What would they need to set up while they are over there (Greece) with the bank etc. to facilitate the funds transfer across here. It would be great to have a general understanding. Thanks.

Transfer it whle Greece is still solvent? Governments have been known to freeze bank withdrawals.
