    I would like to know the best ways to find out what the current rental demand of a suburb.  All advice greatly appreciated.

    Research: Footwork – visit each agent in a suburb on a Friday/Saturday to get the rent list and websearch for properties to let.

    Go to the rental section of http://www.realestate.com

    See how many properties are available for rent and at what price.
