    Hi everyone

What are some tools people use to research areas, prices, rental occumpancy etc?  What website do the RE Agents use?  and is it accessible to anyone or is it only if you have an agents licence?

Anyone tried homeguru.com.au?  http://reareports.realestate.com.au/ is another.  I would like to find some that offer a paid service for all their data instead of buying specific post code areas etc.

    Any info much appreciated, thanks!

    Hi Justin,

I often make use of the residential tenancies website to check median rents (quarterly) for different property types and suburbs.  This is for Queensland only.  Maybe there is a similar thing for other states.  The address is http://www.rta.qld.gov.au   Go to 'median rents'.
