Hi, I have been told by a few people that Hervey Bay, is progressing. Apparently there is some major rgrowth about to happen. I was thinking of buying there for an investment, has anyone heard anything?

I have not been there for a while, but believe it to be difficult to rent anything in Hervey Bay due to the fact that people are retiring there. This would lead me to believe that most people moving that way would be selling where they are and purchasing somewhere to live in Hervey Bay.
In short, moer owner’s than renters.

I have a couple of IP’s there and had the places vacant for approx 4.5 months (even though changed PM) due to the amount of choice as there is.
I was up there last week and there are for sale signs everywhere not only that, but some places have had for sale signs since I was last there in April!
The place is going ahead but not as quick as the developers are hoping.
