Dear Forum can any one inform me on Wavell Heights what is it like.
The Northern flight passes around this area any plane noise?
Transport issues?
The preferred streets and the ones to be aware of any info you can give me would be great help.

I grew up in the Wavell Heights/Chermside area in Brisbane .I do recall moderate aircraft noise in the area but am not aware it the levels have increased greatly .I would keep watch on developments at Brisbane airport with the second runway proposal gathering momentum it could change current flight paths over previously unaffected suburbs.Properties on the high side of Rode Road generally have good views and some have fantastic city views,the suburb is served well by Brisbane City Council buses and is only a short distance from Nundah or Northgate train stations.There is a huge range of shopping options with Westfield Chermside close by and Westfield Toombul as well .The area is well served by public and private schools with Nudgee colledge not that far away. All in all a great suburb that has seen good capital growth over the years.Hope this helpsCheers
