<p>Purchased begining of October a 3&#215;2 bedroom block of brick units close to centre of town for $236000.00.  Spending about $30000.00 renovating now and hoping to get between $180 to $190 each a week.  Very pleased with our purchase.</p>

<p>What do you mean Trusts dont pay tax.  I thought they are taxed at flat 33%.</p>

<p>Thanks for the reply.  We have looked into building a couple of units a while back, but initial investigations found the figures did not add up.  Rightly or wrongly we have only been looking for positive cashflow properties.  This is not to say we will not do it in the future.</p>

Just to let you know I have recently banked a cheque from the valuers to cover the refinancing and extra interest incurred over the term of the business loan.  Although they didn&#8217;t admit liability, they claimed they paid out as an &#8216;indication of goodwill&#8217;.</p>
