I’d like to see Mark Harvey (Ess assistant coach) come over… might instill some toughness into the toothless Tigers…

Saturday arvos? Well, I’m often here in the 9 newsroom trying to put a bullein together… otherwise it’s something footy related…

I smoked for 15 years, tried a lot of times to give up, then the wife said she wanted me to quit so we could have healthy babies… that was 5 weeks ago, haven’t had one and haven’t felt like having one… still early days, but all going well.

    I hear you Yack,

A slightly edited quote from a PM I sent to another forum member a month ago, letting him know the direction I felt the forum was taking… it’s also why I’ve barely posted recently :

“I’m not looking for a love in… If I want to feel loved I’ll give my grandma a call… to be honest I couldn’t give a toss about whether people…

The only post of yours I’ve ever deleted is one where I thought you unfairly abused Westan. In fact, that’s the only post I’ve deleted in months. Not that I have to justify myself to you anyway. The condescending tone of many of your posts is offensive quite a lot of time to quite a lot of the forum members, so no apology of any description is…[Read more]

I’ve been avoiding posting in this thread, but, Mortgage Adviser, I find your disgraceful generalisations about single mothers very insulting.

You see, my mum was single, and on welfare (at times), and yes, she may even have been on medication for depression. She and my father CHOSE to have two kids… the problem was that he died in a plane…[Read more]

    Hi

We have a place on the market at Blairgowrie (Mornington Peninsula) near Melbourne… having done our research, wife and I thought 340k would be great, but 320k would be fine too… agent put it on at 365k, no bites, came back to 340k, no bites, now down to 320k+, hopefully some bites this weekend. Mind you, winter’s probably not the best time…[Read more]

    Yack,

Not everything beyond Melbourne’s city limits is “the sticks”… Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Shepparton etc are just 4 places in Vic that are established regional cities… but we’ve had this discussion before.

Well, I for one will be very interested to see Kay’s response to such a blatantly sexist post from bruce

For what it’s worth I don’t have a problem with the ABC being a little more to the left, since MOST of the media in this country leans to the right… so maybe it restores a bit of balance overall?

If, as Monopoly points out, you’re improving your cash flow by 300 per month, I’d pay it off the PPOR LOC, and keep looking around… that way you’re in a position to pounce on a great deal if one bobs up..

15 suburbs in the whole of Australia is hardly “plenty”, 1HotValuer… go have a look at the back part of the White Pages that has all the post codes… 15 suburbs out of all those is barely any, and the areas where they might be allegedly “plentiful” are often very questionable.

There are plenty of people whom I respect that have been in the…[Read more]

As anyone who is a regular on this site knows, yes, there are plenty of 10%+ yields in NZ… my comments pertained to the Australian market. Apologies for any misunderstanding.
