the reason I don&#8217;t want to go for a 2nd mortgage is because I want to be an active investor.<br />

I gave up too soon.<br />
Because the area is so grey I&#8217;m going to apply for a private ruling from the ATO.<br />
It&#8217;ll be cheaper than a consultation with a high profile lawyer/adviser/accountant, after which I would still need a private ruling, so what can I lose?<br />
+ I&#8217;ll feel more secure afterwards.<br />
I&#8217;ll let you know how it goes.</p>

It&#8217;s no big deal.<br />
It&#8217;s as simple as one driver getting out of a bus and a new driver getting in.<br />
There was no stamp duty or CGT.<br />
The only minor hitch was that the bank wanted to see the Trust Deed before it would allow a new account, to ensure that it allowed for a change of Trustee.<br />

Further to my ecent post, my partner and I have located the very form that Saskatoon refers to.  It is indeed published by the Real Estate Institute of SA.  It&#8217;s form no: 7001.<br />
