Best way to find out about Tarneit is to have a drive out there.<br />
Advantages are that it is reasonably close to the city, affordable land and developing infrastructure.<br />
Check out some of the estates on the net and try to find some more info.<br />
Let me know if you have any more specific questions i may be able to help.</p>

<p>CD is close to the water, therefore CG will be quicker. Tarneit will take longer to make any growth, but eventually will, right?</p>
<p>I would prefer Carrum Downs for the &#8220;close to the bay&#8221; factor, however as I will be working in Port melbourne as of 2007 it would take so long to get there!!!![glum]</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thanks for that Hutch! Although I wont be travelling back to Tarneit in peak hour, will the travel time still be 60 minutes?<br />
I will be travelling from Port Melbourne to Hawthorn (after work) to Hawthorn so I would guess that would be 30-40 minutes?</p>
<p>Will be heading down to Tarneit to have another look this weekend.</p>
