    Hi Clones,

It is actually happening here in Brisbane. I am selling my properties for a number of reasons and that is one of them.

C2, I’ll tell you for experience people move from a place to another for a 5% or 10% drop in rent.

    Hi George.
I think, too, that for a 5-10% drop in rent some people will move.

But it depends- if it’s a family with, say, 2 or 3 kids, it is a BIG hassle to move house.
(Even taking a trip to the beach with babies and kids is a hassle, let alone moving house, and packing ALL of their stuff, hehe!) It costs a lot to move a family, as well.

For a single student, yes I can imagine that they won’t find it too much trouble to pack up and go- they usually have a lot of friends to help them move, and not so many large possessions like wall units.
About $20 a week can mean a lot of money for a student!
