    What are your thoughts?

    The Act cancels all rent and mortgage until April 2022.

    My father took out a mortgage last year with RIO mortgage brokers. It was a very difficult decision for him, as he will soon be 65 and his retirement age will limit his regular income. Fortunately, the broker’s offer helped him analyze the whole situation and roughly calculate his monthly payments. Even if his income is less than 30%, this will be enough to pay off his monthly debt. If your news is true, he will be happy. I am sure that most of the population will be happy to understand that they will no longer have to pay off their mortgage.

    I don’t think this is actually happening but I can say that the eviction moratorium is making life difficult as a landlord.
