    Hi all,

Firstly, I’d like to thank everyone who contributes constantly to this forum.
Over the years I have used this forum and now feel guilty asking for help!

I have two IP that currently have a great return used as short term accommodation.

They are both in my name!

We are now looking at buying ourselves a home to live in. We have a good deposit but due to a lot of lenders not accepting short term accommodation as income as well as now living in a high risk area, we are struggling to find finance.

My next step is to look at selling one of the homes but it is something I’m trying to avoid due to the return being really good. Seems silly to sell a house that has a good return for a house that will have no return.

So I’m not sure if anyone has any ideas but I feel there has to be a solution somewhere.

I’ve looked at trusts but my accountant as well as broker advise against the move.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
