I’m about to renew my building insurance and have been with Terri Sheer for a number of years. I did an online search on building insurance reviews and ‘Product Review’ have terrible reviews of their claims handling. Does anyone have experience in this area and can recommend a good insurer?
    Thanks very much.

I think you’ll find by nature every product like that is going to have terrible reviews – its a review bias. If you have an insurer and things go smoothly you’re not going to bother googling up random product review websites to say they did a good job. If things don’t go your way on the other hand..

    Hi Corey,

Thanks for your prompt reply. I know what you mean, but nevertheless this particular review is terrible and there are many product reviews on this particular site that have many positive comments on them (there are some for Terri Sheer as well).
What’s your experience with building insurers?

So to add another point, read the terms. this will benefit you so much, its time consuming but you will understand the variance in the underwriting and terms of what your actually covered for.
