I have purchased a property in my name only in Victoria (stupid, I know, should have been and/or nominee) on a 25 day settlement and have had an offer from someone to purchase it before settlement. Is there any way to get around paying stamp duty twice (once for me and once for the other party) in this transaction?

Hi Terry! Do you have a suggestion for me? Can I call you? I had already been told by the forum moderator you were the one to speak to :).

My suggestion is to seek legal advice!
    Sorry I don’t take calls.
