I’m in the process of renovating my PPR to increase the equity.

We are still planning on living in there for at least another 4 or 5 years

Here’s my question – I’m loving all the eco pool stuff that’s appearing on the web / pinterst.
Has anyone had any experience of

    a. building one
    b. (more importantly) whether an eco pool would add value to a property in the same way as a regular pool would?

I can see it’s one of those things that might tug at the heart strings of buyers if we were selling it, but since (at this stage) we are just revaluing and refinancing I’m not sure how banks look at them at this stage.

Any feedback would be really helpful – thanks

Generally no real value gain if any for pools – they are very subjective as just as someone may love a pool, otherwise dislike them.

If you want to do it for personal reasons go for it – but I wouldn’t suggest you’ll increase your value by any discernible amount.
