    Hi all,

    WELCOME to our next Brisbane Property Group meeting for 2016!

    It’s all happening on Tuesday, 26th July. And, it’s a special one – not one, but TWO Real Deals! Both are being presented by professional investors… come along and learn from the pros and discover the difference between a good deal and a great one!

    It’s time to revisit your 2016 investing goals to make sure you’re on track, so why not meet like minded people to share the journey with while you’re there!

    For those of you who are new to the group, we are a friendly, supportive bunch and everyone is welcome to attend – the more the merrier! We have everyone from those who are nervously excited about entering the realm of property investing, and others who have been investing successfully for many years…. and of course, every level in between.

    Matt Punter from The Savings Centre

    Matt runs his own business, The Savings Centre which is a finance broking business. He & his wife, Nerida, work closely with a team of independent industry professionals, to assess, develop, implement and monitor a customised Financial Wellbeing Pathway plan for you.

    Matt is very down to earth, sincere and filled with integrity so if you’ve ever considered that you may need support in this area, this is the session for you.

    I’ve personally recommended Matt to my family and colleagues to help with organising their finance to purchase a property and his service has been impeccable.

    Let’s face it, borrowing money is top priority when it comes to successful property investing and Matt is all over this expert niche.

    Real Deal # 1 (yes, we have two Real Deals!)

    This month’s first Real Deal will be presented by Nhan Nguyen!

    Nhan Nguyen has been at it again and managed to create 6 figures in 6 months doing the smallest development we’ve ever seen! Quite simply, Nhan has maximised every square inch of land to turn 1 housing commission dwelling into a 3 unit site by building a duplex in the backyard!

    This is something anyone can have a a go at so if you’re looking to do some development in 2016, this is a great place to start… and who better to show you how it’s done and more importantly, what NOT to do!

    Nhan is a professional investor but he’s a very down to earth guy that is more than willing to share his tricks of the trade.

    You get the best of both worlds in this presentation because you’ll see an everyday project that can be done by an everyday property investor but presented by someone that KNOWS how to maximise the profit and minimise the risk.

    Do whatever you can to be in the room for this one!

    For those that haven’t been before, the Real Deal segment is where a member of the group gets up for 30mins and shares their latest project!

    You get to see an everyday investor sharing all the thrills and spills of their deal. It could be a renovation, subdivision, development.. anything!

    The presenter shares the feasibility numbers for the deal, the before, during and after photos, how they found the deal and most importantly, the mistakes they made along the way!

    It’s truly outstanding to see someone bravely get up and reveal their entire project from start to finish, warts and all!

    Real Deal # 2

    Our second Real Deal will be presented by Shane Hiscock from Shane Hiscock Property.

    Shane has got something really special to share with us; he’s normally up the front, helping us understand how he sources, manages and completes his deals but this time he’s going to open the curtains and talk us through a Real Deal he’s actually done – numbers and all!

    This one is a typical splitter block, 1 title into 2 lots; it’s real, current, and super fresh. He literally just settled the sale of the two houses a week ago! Shane will be running through all the factors that can come up and delay a project, and of course share the numbers of how it all turned out to a positive result in the end.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from someone who does this for a living, for clients, and for himself. Don’t miss it!

    What should I expect?

    Expect to be welcomed with open arms, regardless of your level of experience. Expect to meet amazing people all on the same path. Expect to learn…. A lot!

    You will have the opportunity to mingle, network, and have a cuppa with over 150 active property investors with varying skill levels. If that makes you a little nervous, that’s no problem; instead, why not chat to one of our amazing experts (think accountant, town planner, SMSF specialist…) who regularly present at these meetings – there’s always a few at the back of the room, and they love a chat!

    Do I need to RSVP?

    In short, yes! We have limited seating due to the size of the room, and it is first in, best dressed. If you reserve a spot, you are guaranteed a seat, simple as that.

    How much does it cost?

    Once you’ve come along and seen for yourself why we love our group, and you want to come back (which you will!), the cost is $30 inc GST payable at the door.

    Meetup.com have recently changed the way we can accept payments and as such we have had to remove the online payment option but you can still RSVP and reserve your seat.

    To simplify things we have reduced the ‘at the door’ cost from $33 down to $30 and you can pay this with cash or credit card (MasterCard or Visa) at the registration desk.

    What if I want to come to every meeting, what can you do for me?

    Good question! We have a large number of our community members who do just that, so we have a special Gold Membership. This includes free entry for 12 months to ALL of our meetings (including Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast), plus you get the video recordings, audio and slide shows of each meeting in case you can’t make it.
