I have a couple properties I need to renovate in Brisbane and Im getting stuck on the rules for renovating in qld. Everything I can find states that any building work or overseeing of any building work over $11,000 needs to be done by a builder or to get an owner builder licence. I want to pay trades to do most of the work but would like to do some myself (more than $11,000) and I’d like to project manage the work too. I’d be happy with the owner builder licence, but I can only do 1 property every 6 years with that. Is there any other options that I’m missing? Is there a project managers license or something I can do to be able renovate multiple houses/year in qld without having to hire a building company?
    I really appreciate your advice!
