Is there anyone out there who wants a cheaper way to access 12 month subscriptions to PRICEFINDER? There is an old group that is about to close as the group leader doesn’t want to be involved any more. Members were from here and another forum. I was just contacted by PF to take over the group as a bunch of investors contacted me upset that the group may close. The major benefit of the group is long term access to PF at a significantly cheaper rate than retail.
Can everyone who would like to join as a NEW member PM me your details and include the words “new member”. Thanks. If you happen to be an existing member (the old leader was Matt Edmonds) then PM me also saying that you are an “existing member”.
I am still waiting for PF to advise of pricing etc but I can confirm it will be a lot cheaper than retail (which is the only reason I would consider taking the group on)
FYI anyone who only wants a few months access should just go get the API mag 12 month subscription. You will get 3 months access cheaply. This group is for 12 months memberships only for ongoing investors and others who want permanent access. If I am short on numbers (PF have a mininum) I may allow 6 month memberships but really this makes the most sense for people who want it rolling along as a regular thing so 12 months is preferred.
IF you send me a PM then just wait a bit – I am waiting on PF to contact me again with some more info before sending out any terms or offers. I will be in touch in coming days/weeks with more info.
PS @benny and mods I assume this is ok but if not please delete. I have been getting emails and PM’s about this group as some members are quite anxious about it closing so I thought it best to make it public.
Update: I have had confirmation from Pricefinder and the old group manager that I will be taking this on. I have been sent the service agreement and will be onboarding members from now onwards. If any existing or new members want to know more please PM or email me. Thanks.BennyModerator@bennyJoin Date: 2002Post Count: 1,416
Just an update to this post – over the last month I on boarded the existing members who wanted to stay. There were a few spots left, I and had some PMs from people so those are all taken now, but I had a couple of extra requests, so I asked Pricefinder for more spots. They just said yes and so if people want access they just need to PM or email me and I can arrange.
Latest update: I can also now confirm I can offer monthly payment plan for the first time (it is still a 12 month commitment, just with a credit card purchased that deducts in 12 equal payments) – after a few people advised me they wanted to join but did not have the full amount up front available. It just took me a while to work out how to do the recurring payments tech is not my first love!jetaParticipant@classiceuropaJoin Date: 2016Post Count: 17Matt JonesParticipant@mattjonesJoin Date: 2005Post Count: 170
Great question on the difference between PriceFinder and RPData – I’ve been asked that question a lot!
I recently posted a comprehensive comparison between the two services which you may find useful:
Cheers, Matt Jones
PS @benny I assume this is ok to post but if not please delete.
Just bumping this old thread. I run groups with authorised nationwide access to Pricefinder and RP Data currently. Email or call me if required.
