Not a serious story by any account but I had to laugh. I recently found a property for sale, I liked the look of the numbers and ROI, etc… Then I started to think what I’m going to do is approach the neighbours and see what they say about the area and see if they want to sell?
Just before I executed my attack on the market I thought I would look at recent Auction results in the area on Realestate.com
Guess what! Turns out most of the houses in that street had recently been sold at auction and for far more than I was going to go in at.
The prices totally stuffed the ROI figures, oh well maybe I take over the world next week?

If you don’t ask, you won’t know. I’d still go and talk to the owners. Things don’t look to be in your favourite but may get lucky and will never know unless you try. It’s not always about the $$$’s ;)
