    Hi everybody,

    I recently completed building a pair of duplex units in QLD. There is only the 2 units both on separate titles with only the driveway as common land. Similar to a battle axe block.

    I recently received a letter from the party who have been tasked to establish the body corporate file. They have also informed me that I am required to get strata insurance? According to “the Act” it is essential that this be provided, in QLD?

    What I am not sure about is if I need to set up a body corporate at all? The tenants are not going to be paying any body corporate fee’s and there is no Body corporate committee.

    What are my minimum requirements in this situation?
