Apartment aspect – which is better NW or E?

Hi All,

I am torn between the North West facing apartment, which would be filled with lots of sunlight (which I love) and the East facing apartment which has water views (better value) but would lose the sun in the afternoon.

As an investment I would go for water views but as an owner occupier I am torn. I have never lived in a high rise apartment and would appreciate other peoples thoughts? Thank you.
