My husband was approached by someone from Members Alliance saying they want to help us pay off our mortgage faster. My hubby bought into it because he’s on the lookout for mortgage reduction techniques and so on. After reading the reviews in these forums, I know it is a scam and I am not keen for one of their sales consultants to come into my home and try to pull the wool over our eyes. My husband genuinely thinks that they are here to help. Even without reading the feedback here I’m skeptical. What do they get out of this?

I tried telling him some of the feedback posted here but he’s not swayed. What can I say to convince him otherwise?
    Thanks for your help.

Ask him if he would go and pay off someone’s mortgage without getting anything in return.
