    Hi,

I am starting to look into Australian property as an investment vehicle and discovered that Tasmania is currently still pretty reasonably priced. I looked at Launceston and found quite a fiew houses and units with yields above 8%. This looks pretty good to me but I am not sure if it makes sense to look into this further. Could anyone of you experts give me a hint and/or opinion if Tasmania and especially Launceston is a good place to invest. Any opinion would be appreciated – I am very aware that thus cannot be considered as a proper advice but I woukd simply like to get a feel for the market down there. I’ve heard that it is not to be expected to get a lot of capital growth, but is it at least stable? I am happy to miss out capital growth as long as I would be able to achieve sufficient yield and it is possible for me to sell the property without loss.
    Thanks for your help!

    Cheers,

    Andre
