    Can you claim GST on repairs and alterations etc if your in the business of buying and selling residential property

    Unless the property is purchased through a company or you engage the renovations through a company that is registered for GST I dont think this is possible.

    would be interested to see what others say about this topic.

    If it is a business then probably – but hard to establish residential property as a business unless you are a builder.
