It’s time for our next Sunshine Coast Property Group meeting, next Tuesday 6 May 2014; for those of you who are new to the group, we’re a friendly, supportive bunch and everyone is welcome to attend. We have everyone from those who are excited yet nervous about entering the realm of property investing, and others who have been investing successfully for many years – and of course, every level in between.
There is a minimal cost to attend of $10 per person to cover venue hire, and you get a property magazine upon entry. Plus of course, tea, coffee & quality bikkies!

Stephen Patey, Manager of Strategic Planning at the Sunshine Coast Council will be joining us, along with Julie Edwards, Manager of Development Services – this is a golden opportunity to learn from those in the know!
As you can imagine, this is a night not to be missed – rarely does such an opportunity arise!
Stephen Patey will be briefing us on the Sunshine Coast Planning Scheme, whilst Julie Edwards will be presenting on working with the Sunshine Coast Council to understand progressing development applications.
We’ll also have a questions and answer session, so come along with any questions that you have – and learn from others’ questions too!

Richard Clemmey
Richard is an action taker, and that’s why this deal has come to fruition. After some diligent research on the Sunshine Coast, Richard managed to find the ideal block of dirt for a duplex, source a great builder and then ticked all the right boxes to access funding.
I’ll let Richard share all the juicy details but needless to say there were plenty of twists and turns. If you’re thinking about developing duplexes, make sure you are in the room for this one!
