Hi everybody, i am new to the forum.

I was wondering if anybody knows of any really good loan calculators out there… specifically one with extra repayments, interest only terms and fixed rate terms in the features..

Ive downloaded a few spreadsheets but they arent really giving me what i need.

    Any suggestions?

    Jacob

Freckle's spreadsheet is a good resource.

For me personally, I like to use the online NAB home loan calculator.

If you're making a more sophisticated calculation, then making your own customised calculator from a spreadsheet would be a good idea – or at least check out Freckle's spreadsheet, and then edit it according to your personal needs.

    Hi Jacob.

This is tool i recently discovered on other forums.

    http://www.loansource.com.au

It allows you to do a range of things including adding extra repayments at any time in the loan, fixed interest terms, interest only, offset accounts.

It calculates your balances, interest paid, equity etc. at any point and also uses capital growth data specific to the suburb you purchase in.

By far the best calculator i have come across.

    Hope that helps!
