    Hi everyone,

    I am buying an investment property. For income tax deduction purpose I need a valuation of the building cost and the cost of the fittings, and a deprecation schedule. I’ve never had this done before because this is my first investment property. Could anyone please recommend any company in Melbourne? Thank you very much.

    Hi there

    There's heaps of Quantity Surveyor companies out there. Just do a google search for one in your local area and take your pick.

    There are quite a few national franchises as well as smaller companies. 

    Expect to pay anywhere between $400 – $700

    Why not try someone like Depreciator   www.depreciator.com.au.

    Just come off the phone from ordering one for a forum member.

    They are very Professional and excellent to deal with.
