    hi all this is maybe a bit off subject but worth a ask?

    as iam a construction worker my super gets paid, i have been looking on the cbus site which is where my money is and i have a choice of (high growth / high risk ),,( or growth med to high risk)    has any one got money invested in super funds and can share with the forum there experences with all this ???

    there proberly are more things aswell that could proberly work on my behalf as if i am having money in there its in my best interest i get the best return over the long run ?

    and does any one know if i was to put extra money on there is their tax benifets or any benifets for super funds ?

    You should seek financial advice as you can only contribute a maximum of $25k pa to super and this includes the 9% guarantee. Any contributions are taxed at 15% going in and the income as taxed at 15% too. Once contributed to super the funds cannot be withdrawn until you meet a condition of release such as retirement.
