Who does everyone use for their US Tax Returns? I have 2 properties in Tennesse and my accountants in Aus are charging me $1100 to perform a full tax return. Appraently this is the going rate as they build work papers for all returns lodged in the event the IRS or ATO make enquiries in years to come.  Additionally, they build cost base schedules in the first year properties are secured which are required to calculate Capital Gains should the property be sold in years to come. What is everyone else paying and are they receiving a similar service? If you know someone that can do a better deal let me know! Thanks.

I can second Donna Shaw. I have also heard the guys at US Invest do external client tax returns at a much better rate than most. I think there is a number to call them at http://www.usinvest.com.au
