    Hey all.

Ive been researching my options for some time now, and thanks to all your post (thanks for that by the way)  i have come up with an idea to purchase a property with a decent parcel of land, subdivide it and put a removable home on the subdivision. I thinking of doing this the hunter region or central coast region of NSW.

Only problem being is i'm not to sure what im looking for exactly. I cant seem to find information on the minimum requirements to subdivide a parcel (not frontage, land size etc),

Any DVD/Seminars i could do to learn more about this, or anyone to talk to?

    Thanks in advance

go to the newcastle or local council website and download their DA Guide – plenty of useful information around the requirements for dual occ, multi dwelling, etc.

It will save you heaps of time and money if you can have local town planner/architect on board.

I am sure there are few town planners on this forum.

    Try:

i think he is on this forum.

If you are going down this path, it will be good idea to get top accountant and gem of broker on your side.

Shahin has already replied to your post and knows in and out of development as well. may be worth while to speak to him!!!!!!

He has done wonders for me (in terms of finance and helping me out with development projects as well)

From memory, there was an article about young lady doing a small scale development in Morrisett, NSW.. may be worthwhile to read that too.
