I am seeking advice from other property investors regarding what software you use to keep track of your property portfolio and allow an easy end of financial year report to your accountant.

    I

ideally I would like software that allows easy tracking of your expenses if possible send with an iPhone/ipad so you can quickly track receipts etc whilst in the go.

    Hi Brad

I just use an excel spreadsheet that's updated monthly.

There's a seperate worksheet for each IP with a summay page at the front that shows the total income/expenses for each.

You can use an app like Camscanner to scan and store your receipts.

You can also use an app like dropbox to save them over multiple devices (ipad, iphone, pc, laptop).

    Cheers

    Jamie

    Thanks Jamie.

i also use excel and have some pretty detailed spreadsheets which I update as I go. I also now use Receipt2Go on the iPhone which inputs all expenses and allows scanning of receipts which is helpful.

I am just looking for a program that will produce reports for my accountant, accept imports from my banking transactions etc.

has anyone had experience with Quickbooks and possibly an investment medium of Quickbooks?

    thanks

I used to use a spreadsheet now and found a great program called "Vendor Finance Calculator" – it has recently been updated to a new name and contains a CRM and also will help you produce your annual reporting and give you all sorts of data regardless of the the investment strategy your using. Check it out at: http://www.propertyinvestorsystem.com
