Since I spend so much time on this forum I thought I'd share some great news.
My wife gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Charlotte, on Monday morning.
It was an amazing experience and I'm enjoying every minute of being her dad….although a little bit more sleep would be nice
Have a great w/end everyone.

That's great news Jamie and I love her name! The sleep deprivation only lasts a few years if you're lucky. In the blink of an eye she'll be 18 and saying "Hey Dad, can I borrow the car?" and then it starts all over again!
Also congratulations to Big Sis.
Enjoy!!!!!Mick CParticipant@shapeJoin Date: 2010Post Count: 1,099s0805Participant@s0805Join Date: 2006Post Count: 85

Where'd I go wrong? 30 and 27 and they still give me sleepless nights.
Good on ya mate. Best time's when they're young. I could tell you a few war stories but I don't want to scare you so early in the game.Richard TaylorParticipant@qlds007Join Date: 2003Post Count: 12,024
Well done mate although really lets face it was Mrs Moore who did all the hard work.

Congratulations! You'll learn to function on 4 hours of broken sleep a night in no time
Yep, 4 hours does seem to be the magic number when it comes to sleep – and you're right, I'm surprised that I'm still able to get on with things. Oh well, it's all worth it!

Congratulations, Jamie and family!
As others have said, the broken sleep does not last forever and your body will amazingly adjust to it.
Not long to go until you 'catch' yourself singing her favorite song in the office
